The new 18th generation CLP-600 Series Yamaha Clavinova once again raises the bar. This time marks the 34th anniversary of Yamaha’s introduction of the world’s first digital piano back in 1983, model YP40. Times have changed since its debut.
The Clavinova CLP Series has come to represent the very best in digital pianos. The best new actions and piano samples are always introduced in the CLP Series.
Here are some new features the new CLP-600 series will offer from the top model CLP-685 and below.
The CLP675 and CLP685 will incorporate Yamaha’s brand new keyboard mechanism with real wooden keys, synthetic ebony and ivory key tops with escapement. These models will incorporate the longest key fulcrum length of any digital piano on the market. This provides a balanced, playable resistance from the front of the key to the very back.
The control panel to the left of the keyboard has been redesigned to place more focus on easy-to-reach features, rather than making users navigate function menus. This includes dedicated buttons for CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial piano samples. (CLP635-CLP685)
The CLP-600 will be available in two new finishes, dark walnut and polished white. These finishes are available on select models, and offer more style options than ever before.
Bluetooth audio is now available on the CLP-645 and above, allowing users to stream music wirelessly from any Bluetooth-enabled device! (CLP645-CLP685)
Of course these are only a few of the new exciting features that you’ll discover on the new Yamaha CLP-600 series Clavinovas.
