Grand Piano Haus is pleased to offer this exceptional Yamaha AvantGrand N2 Hybrid Piano on consignment.

This N2 was purchased new in 2015 by its original owner and has remained with that one owner since new. It was subsequently donated to the Music Institute of Chicago, which has entrusted Grand Piano Haus with selling the instrument.

The piano is in excellent condition and operates perfectly, with all functions working normally. It has been carefully maintained and presents an outstanding opportunity to own one of Yamaha’s most sophisticated hybrid piano designs at a significant savings compared with a new instrument.

The Yamaha AvantGrand N2 combines the authentic playing characteristics of a grand piano with the convenience and versatility of a digital instrument. Unlike conventional digital pianos, the N2 incorporates a specialized grand piano action, giving the pianist a remarkably natural response and touch. Yamaha designed the action using the same basic configuration as a grand piano, with the hammers moving from underneath the strings, allowing for subtle control and expressive response.

The N2 also incorporates Yamaha’s Spatial Acoustic Sampling and Spatial Acoustic Speaker System, designed to recreate the sound and resonance of a concert grand within its compact cabinet. Yamaha’s Tactile Response System (TRS) further enhances the playing experience by reproducing the physical vibrations and resonance that a pianist experiences when playing an acoustic grand piano.

Yamaha has informed Grand Piano Haus that it will not honor the original manufacturer's warranty on Yamaha instruments purchased through Grand Piano Haus — even though many of these pianos were originally purchased directly from the manufacturer while Grand Piano Haus was an authorized dealer.
