The PNOmation4 Touch is designed to provide much more than simple automatic playback. QRS's system incorporates advanced control technology designed to reproduce the dynamics and expression contained in the original performance.

The system provides convenient access to music and piano controls through its modern interface and supports wireless connectivity. QRS also provides ongoing software updates for the PNO4 platform; the company currently lists PNO4 software updates as recently as June 2026.

One of the major advantages of the PNOmation platform is its upgrade path. QRS continues to support earlier generations and offers upgrade kits to newer technology, including a PM2-to-PNO4 upgrade with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
