An authentically restored Steinway & Sons Model O grand piano from 1918, built in New York City during the celebrated Golden Era of Steinway craftsmanship. This instrument has undergone a complete, high-level restoration over approximately one year, returning it to a like-new standard of performance and appearance while preserving its original musical character. The piano retains its original soundboard, carefully stabilized and reinforced through precise shimming using matched Steinway soundboard material. The case has been refinished in high-gloss ebony, and the instrument has been upgraded with new German-made hardware components for improved stability and performance. All original brass hardware has been fully restored to its original brilliance. It is fitted with a Renner (Germany) action stack and Abel (Germany) hammers, delivering a responsive, expressive touch comparable to high-end modern concert instruments.
